Fun in the Leaves

Sadly, our trees are losing their leaves ... so, we thought it would be fun to go out and play in them :)  Happy fall!

6 Year Anniversary!

Adam and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on October, 22!  We are both so surprised how quickly these past 6 years have flown by!  We've had loads and loads of fun and have grown so much as a couple!  We spent the morning with Gabe, playing and running around and then had a wonderful dinner, just the two of us at The Cheesecake Factory!  After dinner, we shopped around for a while then headed home.  We had a great evening together :)


We made our annual trip to Nashville last week ... just a few pics ...

Almost 27 weeks on our Anniversary ...

(I will finally be getting my hair done in the next few weeks ... it's about time!!! My hair looks awful!!  LOL)

Sweet Baby Dodd

We had a special opportunity to hang out with our lovely Megs and Jason after Gabe's party!  We took a trip to Anderson Orchard with the Doddridges, the Johnsons, and the Edwards!  We were able to have a  BRIEF maternity session (and when I say brief, I mean like 15 minutes!!) ... I was really disappointed in the shots I was able to take :(  Hopefully Shelly was able to get more!

Megan is absolutely gorgeous and with her growing belly she is even more stunning!

Gabe's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Gabe's birthday this weekend with a fun little Elmo party!  We tried to keep it on a strict budget this year, so it was not as elaborate as his 1st birthday ... but I think everyone still enjoyed themselves :)  I know Gabe did!  The boys ran around playing on the corn hole boards, bowling, and basketball.  We had pizza again this year because it is so easy and Gabe LOVES pizza.  It was so nice to have all of our family and friends together to celebrate Gabe's special day!  Thank you everyone for your help and all the nice presents!

Tuesday is his birthday, so Adam took off work and we are going to spoil him all day :)  First, we are going to set up his gift in the living room and surprise him when he wakes up in the morning ... stay tuned for a video.  Then, I'm thinking breakfast at Flap Jacks, fun at the park, and maybe a little picnic on the little pond before it's time for a nap.  Hopefully the weather will remain nice so we can enjoy being outdoors!  I might bake him a little cake just for him to have after dinner :)

Gabe is changing everyday it seems.  He is talking more and more, repeating everything we say.  He LOVES music ... playing the guitar and most of all drumming on EVERYTHING!  He actually has pretty good rhythm!  He still loves sports ... soccer, golf, and basketball.  He got a TBall set for his birthday, so I'm sure he will love that too.  He loves ladders and steps, books, Elmo, Mickey Mouse, the moon and the stars ... I could go on and on!!  He is such a joy and so much fun!  He has such a sweet heart, always giving hugs and kisses.  Such a great kiddo :)  We love him more than words can say.


I was able to snap a few shots before the party ... but I'm really looking forward to seeing all of Shelly's pictures she took for us!!!  I know they will be so much better than these!  The lighting was not good unfortunately, so we just had to make the best of itl
