24 Weeks & 5 Days
Today we had our second ultrasound appointment at the MFM clinic. Our baby boy is growing!! He weighed in at a whopping 1lb 9oz ... right on track! Physically, he looked great ... brain, bones, heart, facial features, umbilical cord, etc. My placenta still looks the same ... like "swiss cheese" ... so, Dr. Hiett wants to see us every 3 to 4 weeks to do an ultrasound to make sure our little guy continues to grow. Our next appointment is Sept. 8 and will consist of our usual ultrasound as well as a fetal ECHO ... just to make sure a defect wasn't missed. We felt much more relieved after this appointment!
