Gabe's Favorite Animals

Gabe adores Hunter, his "dog dog".  From the moment he wakes up, he is asking for him ... and he grins ear to ear when Hunter barges into his room, wagging his tail with excitement, licking him through his crib rails.  What a cute sight to see!  They love each other :)  Gabe recently started chasing Hunter around and patting him on the back.  Hunter plays along nicely, until Gabe reaches for his tail ... then he runs :)

Gabe also adores my parents' cat, Maynard.  "Kittttty", Gabe squeals!  It is adorable.  He knows when we are on our way to their house that he gets to see the kitty, and as soon as we round the corner in front of their addition, he starts squealing!  He and the kitty are pals.  Gabe is surprisingly gentle with him.  Aunty Shelly got Gabe a jellycat kitty that looks just like Maynard, Gabe lights up when he sees it!  He just loves it so much!
